Your Prayers for ‘Warriors’
This week and next I will be talking with several production companies in Hollywood about my screenplay (movie) titled, Warriors of the Last Temple.
Here’s how I will be approaching them. And, yes, I’d appreciate your prayers for receptivity.
I’ve just completed an epic screenplay with the potential to appeal to wide domestic and international audiences.
It’s a high-concept, action-adventure, historical, and political epic that takes place amidst the total destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple during the Jewish-Roman War of the 1st century.
It’s based on a true story with major significance for the situation in modern-day Israel—because Jerusalem remains the most hot-button city in our world today.
So given your company’s interest in this genre of movie, I would like to know if you would be interested in seeing a synopsis and/or the 126-page script with an eye toward producing this film titled, Warriors of the Last Temple?
Ted Baehr, publisher of MovieGuide in L.A., terms Warriors “the greatest story never told.” Ted also insisted that I had to be the one to write it, because it’s based on my Ph.D. dissertation and “we need your POV.”
Logline: In the generation following Jesus’ death, a Jewish priest and army general is captured in battle and becomes an advisor and mediator for the Romans. Through it all, he struggles with a decision that will impact the ultimate fate of Jerusalem, the Second Temple, and the future of the teachings of Jesus.
My protagonist is a real historical person who actually lived through this dramatic period and played a highly controversial role in bring about these tragic events.
In Hollywood framing parlance, Warriors is The Passion of the Christ meets Braveheart with a Gladiator twist. And it has been through the consulting and budgeting process.
If you’d like me to send Warriors to you for your consideration, you may contact me at the email or mailing address or phone # above. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you for your consideration,
John Noe, Ph.D.
